Anyone else getting strange N2YO Tracking?

Postby WB4SON » Fri Nov 22, 2013 7:42 pm

Whenever I try and use the N2YO tracking page (or the data warehouse page), based on the pre-launch TLEs, I get passes that are hours off reality -- about 7 hours off.

Anybody else having issues with it?

Here also, Bob. What are you comparing them to?
I'm seeing a 1 degree East pass here in 5 hrs according to an element set I cobbled together.
And I heard nothing at the n2yo predicted 15:00cst pass.

Celestrak and amsat don't seem to have keps yet.
DK3WN has a list of possibles and sez the lottery has begun :)

Hi,

I've taken it down for the moment. Will bring it back up when we have a solution.

Got to get on with WOD and High Res!
