Authorisation code

Postby JohnG7OHO » Thu Oct 06, 2016 9:18 am

Hi, How long does it take for the authorisation code to come through? I've put two schools in and still waiting. Thanks, John.

Hi John,

The process is instant, the server mails out the authorisation codes.
So please check your spam folder and if nothing appeared, email us your details at operations@funcube.org.uk, and we will sort you out.

Thank you,

Hi Wouter, now your email address doesn't work! bounced back. 'I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could not
be delivered to one or more recipients.'

OK, that is strange, because I have received some E-mail on this address earlier today.

Lets do it this way: let me have the SiteID or name you used during registration, and I will look up those registrations and E-mail to the address that was put in during registration.

Messages must have crossed.
No need to worry - all sorted now.
One thing though - I had to use a different email address to get it to work as it said 'email address used already'.
How do I get authorisation codes for the different schools I go to while using a previously used email address?

Regards
John

Hi John,

You are using Gmail as far as I can tell, which allows you to add separators to the registration email.
This is called sub-addressing. For instance, youraddress+school1@gmail.com will add the label school1 to your email address, while still delivering it in your mailbox.

For others that may be looking at this post: this works with all E-mail providers that support RFC 5233

I had a computer crash and did not have a record of my Site ID or Authorization Code. I can't re-register. How can I obtain my login information again? I have tried emailing to the registration email address and have received no response. Thank you. Scott
