How long after launch to expect TLM

Postby g4bbh » Wed Nov 20, 2013 8:52 pm

I know launch time is due at 07:10:11 UT but when are the satellites likely to deploy? No point starting Dashboard until after that time. Hearing anything will be difficult anyway with the low power and preliminary keps. Thanks.

If all goes well, about 10 minutes after spacecraft separation. However, there are several watch dog processes on the satellite. The main one being do we have enough battery voltage to deploy the antennas. I.e. have we been in eclipse and we need to recharge first. If that is the case it could be up to 50 minutes after launch.
