Warehouse web-interface issue reporting

Morning Dave, just a potential-candidate thread for reporting rare errors, devious-bugs, code-monkey observations, and other non-support issues.

First item on the agenda is a simple one: the sidebar menu prematurely closes the list after the "Whole Orbit Data" item.

/register.html
html > body > div#page-wrap > div#page > ul#sidebar > li > ul

Code: Select all
Bug:
<li><a href="/wod.html?satelliteId=2">Whole Orbit Data</a></li></ul></li>

Fix:
<li><a href="/wod.html?satelliteId=2">Whole Orbit Data</a></li>

UPDATE: maybe I'm going crazy, maybe you just happened to fix it at the same time I posted, or maybe I mistakenly thought it was on all pages.
At least /register.html still has the bug!

Hi,

Now that's the sort of feedback I like.

The page is templated, so they will all have fault.

I'll fix it when I get home

Cheers

Dsve

That's the conclusion I jumped to in my 2am stupor, however it was wrong. The other pages are indeed fine - the registration page must have it hard-coded.

So to clarify, just the Registration page's sidebar menu has an incorrectly nested list resulting in a trivial cosmetic glitch.

/register.html
Line 172: remove "</ul></li>"
Line 183: add "</li>"
Line 197: add "</ul>"

Hi!

just to report a minor glitch in the warehouse ranking listings (numberings).

When more than one entry is tied for a certain ranking, the entry following (below) those is incorrectly numbered. During the counting, some numbers are being skipped.

Example: Two entries are tied at ranking #307, both having uploaded 1912 packets. The next lower ranking has uploaded 1888 packets -- but is listed with #309 instead of the expected #308. There is no #308.

Example: Three entries are tied at ranking #639, all having uploaded 103 packets. The next lower has uploaded 102 packets -- but is listed at #642 instead of #640. There is no #640 or #641.

These are observations for FC1 -- for FC2 you can see it "en block" starting at ranking #204.

Best,
Paul

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the feedback.

I'll take a look at the weekend.
